10. Hunter Long, TE Jaguars to Cardinals

  • Cardinals receive: Hunter Long + 2028 seventh-round pick
  • Jaguars receive: 2028 sixth-round pick

Arizona buys experience and familiarity. Long caught 12 passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns for Jacksonville last season, and he previously worked in Los Angeles with current Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur. Jacksonville essentially moves up a round to clear its crowded TE room. One would imagine with Trey McBride in Arizona, Long will not see many targets.

9. Kyle McCord, QB Packers to Dolphins

  • Dolphins receive: Kyle McCord
  • Packers receive: 2028 sixth-round pick

McCord made himself tradeable at exactly the right time, throwing for 226 yards and four touchdowns in Green Bay’s preseason finale. Buried behind Jordan Love and Tyrod Taylor, he now moves to Miami with a clearer path to the No. 2 job behind Malik Willis.

8. Mark Redman, TE Rams to Packers

  • Packers receive: Mark Redman
  • Rams receive: 2028 seventh-round pick

Redman spent 2025 on the Rams practice squad after going undrafted out of Louisville. At 6-foot-5, 258 pounds, he gives Green Bay another developmental body at a position where his size and receiving background are worth a late-round lottery ticket.

7. Gervon Dexter / Clark Phillips III Bears to Falcons

  • Falcons receive: DT Gervon Dexter
  • Bears receive: CB Clark Phillips III + fifth-round pick

This is the most substantial player-for-player deal in the screenshots. Dexter is only 24 and already has 13.5 sacks in 49 games, including six last season. Chicago turns a starting defensive tackle into Phillips plus additional draft capital; Atlanta gets a young, proven interior disruptor. With both Jalon Walker (torn ACL) and James Pearce Jr. (8-game suspension) leaves Atlanta of players of defense.

6. Corey Kiner, RB Cardinals to Patriots

  • Patriots receive: Corey Kiner
  • Cardinals receive: 2028 seventh-round pick

This isn’t just random roster churn. Kiner ran for 180 yards and two TDs on 39 carries this preseason, while New England was searching for somebody to emerge behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. Rather than hope Kiner reached waivers, the Patriots paid the seventh and secured him.  

5. Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, C Bills to Colts

  • Colts receive: Van Pran-Granger + 2027 seventh-round pick
  • Bills receive: 2027 sixth-round pick

A sneaky useful move for Indianapolis. The former Georgia captain and two-time national champion has already appeared in 31 NFL games despite being only 24. The Colts needed legitimate depth behind Tanor Bortolini and paid little to get it.

4. Jordan Meredith, C/G Raiders to Jets

  • Jets receive: Jordan Meredith + 2027 seventh-round pick
  • Raiders receive: 2027 sixth-round pick

Not sexy, but useful. Meredith has 45 NFL appearances and 20 starts, including 11 starts last season. He has experience at both guard and center, giving the Jets proven interior depth rather than gambling on the cutdown scrap pile. Depth along the offensive line can never be deep enough.

3. Avery Smith, CB Chargers to Seahawks

  • Seahawks receive: Avery Smith
  • Chargers receive: 2027 sixth-round pick

This one has some juice. The defending champions one possible area of need is the defensive back position. Smith was an undrafted rookie out of Toledo who became one of the Chargers’ training-camp risers. He had 26 pass breakups and three interceptions in 51 college games, and Seattle was willing to surrender a sixth rather than risk somebody else getting him.

2. Kaleb Johnson, RB Steelers to Packers

  • Packers receive: Kaleb Johnson
  • Steelers receive: 2028 sixth-round pick

Pittsburgh moves on quickly from its 2025 third-round pick. Johnson managed only 69 yards on 28 carries as a rookie and was squeezed down the depth chart after the Steelers added Rico Dowdle and drafted Eli Heidenreich. Green Bay gets a 23-year-old reclamation project at minimal cost. Veteran Josh Jacobs going on the Commissioner’s except list, Johnson will be needed.

1. Broderick Jones, OT Steelers to Cowboys

  • Cowboys receive: Broderick Jones + 2027 fourth-round pick
  • Steelers receive: 2027 third-round pick + 2027 sixth-round pick

The former No. 14 overall pick gets a reset after three uneven seasons in Pittsburgh. Jones still brings 38 career starts at only 25, but Pittsburgh’s investment in Troy Fautanu and first-rounder Max Iheanachor made his path increasingly narrow. Dallas bets that the traits that made Jones a first-rounder can still be salvaged.
