C2P- What type of scheme did you run in college? What did coaches ask of you? BM – Blocked a zone scheme. Coaches asked me to put my hand in the ground and block an OLB/DE, then be split out wide and block in space. As well as being a valuable option in the pass game. C2P – What are the hallmark qualities of your ability on the field that NFL scouts will immediately identify? BM – Athleticism, reliable, fast C2P – What positive abilities go hidden? Maybe the scheme didn’t allow you to showcase curtain aspects of your game or leadership qualities or game film study? What do scouts need to know about you they have yet to find out? BM – I think our scheme was fine for me to showcase my strengths, if you watch my film you will see I was aligned all over the field blocking and catching. I am a team first guy and will do anything to make my team better. C2P – What is something positive said to you by coaches that motivates you to keep getting better? BM – Keep up the good work C2P – Was there anything ever said negative that helps you grind towards your goal that you use as motivation? Who said it? Madon is a long athletic tight end. A slender built frame that excels at getting down field. Playing in a traditional offense, Madon finished second in receptions (34) and receiving yards (456). The bulk of Madon’s upside is his pass catching ability and agility to get down field, but he is stout and able to handle blocking assignments. He displays good eye-hand coordination and focus. Consistently catches the ball away from his frame. Not a massive target with average straight line speed with limited elusiveness. Good overall awareness and football instincts.
