AFC East All-Division Team

Building one all-division roster wasn’t about simply picking the biggest names. Every selection came from a blend of recent PFF grades, Pro Bowl recognition, All-Pro caliber play, production, durability, scheme fit, and, yes, a little personal opinion.

Some of these choices will have fans nodding in agreement.

Others may spark heated debates.

That’s exactly what makes an exercise like this so much fun. Is the highest-graded player always the best fit? Should reputation outweigh recent performance? Does upside matter more than proven production? Is a newcomer in the waiting?

Every position forces those questions.

This isn’t meant to be the only correct roster it’s the recipe for assembling the most complete AFC East super team entering the season. Four rivals. One elite roster.

Love it or hate it, if it gets you arguing football with your buddies, then I’ve done my job.

Let’s dig in.

Offensive Unit

QB: Josh Allen (Bills)

RB: De’Von Achane (Dolphins)

FB: Reggie Gilliam (Patriots)

WR: A.J. Brown (Patriots)

WR: Khalil Shakir (Bills)

WR: Garrett Wilson (Jets)

TE: Dalton Kincaid (Bills)

LT: Spencer Brown (Bills)

LG: Mike Onwenu (Patriots)

C: Aaron Brewer (Dolphins)

RG: Joe Tippmann (Jets)

RT: Kadyn Proctor (Dolphins)

Josh Allen remains the engine that makes this offense go, giving the AFC East one of the league’s premier quarterbacks. Drake Maye is hot on his heels but Allen remains number one.

The AFC East has a powerful group of runners and deciding on De’Von Achane over other elite guys shows the true character of these divisions runners.

Perhaps the boldest choice comes at right tackle, where rookie Kadyn Proctor earns the nod based on immense upside and long-term potential. It may be an unconventional pick, but few young linemen possess his rare combination of size, athleticism, and ceiling.

Defensive Unit

Edge rushers, outside linebackers also creates some oddness in choices. Defenses running a 3-4 or 4-3 make it a bit tricky on some selections. Nonetheless the goal is to place to best 2026 AFC East players in limelight.

The AFC East defense features a blend of proven veterans and ascending stars. Greg Rousseau headlines a disruptive front that continues to improve each season, while Milton Williams provides interior quickness and power after arriving in New England.

Linebacker is loaded with versatility, led by Jordyn Brooks and the ageless wonder  Demario Davis, whose leadership and instincts remain invaluable.

Christian Gonzalez has already developed into one of football’s premier young cover corners, while Carlton Davis III brings a physical presence opposite him.

At safety, the addition of Minkah Fitzpatrick back to the Jets gives this defense one of the NFL’s elite ball hawks, capable of changing games with his instincts and range.

Special Teams

Special teams often determine close games, and this AFC East squad is built on reliability. Andy Borregales enters year two after a solid rookie season. New England appears set for a long-term fix at kicker.

Austin McNamara provides excellent leg strength and field-position value as the team’s punter.

Long snapper Andrew Beck enters his eighth season in the NFL and second in New York. He provides another level of consistent play for the Jets.

Notable Subs

  • QB: Drake Maye (Patriots) – MVP finalist and franchise quarterback with elite physical tools and tremendous long-term upside.
  • RB: James Cook (Bills) – Explosive runner and dangerous receiving threat out of the backfield.
  • RB: Breece Hall (Jets) – Dynamic three-down back whose versatility narrowly missed the starting lineup.
  • WR: Romeo Doubs (Patriots) – Reliable possession receiver with strong hands and red-zone value. Will first season in New England unlock another level of play?
  • DE: Joey Bosa (Bills) – Veteran pass rusher who still possesses game-changing ability when healthy. Recorded 5 sacks last season.
