2026 HEISMAN TROPHY CHASE

Sayin isn’t entering the race from nowhere. He finished fourth in the 2025 Heisman voting after throwing for 3,610 yards and 32 touchdowns. The jump from contender to winner is now sitting directly in front of him.

Quarterbacks own this award until somebody steals it. Smith is precisely the kind of talent capable of doing that. He already finished sixth in Heisman voting last season and enters 2026 attached to another national-title contender.
