The Michigan quarterback was making real strides prior to breaking his collarbone against Iowa last November (14th). Speight possesses the specs NFL GMs desire (6-foot-6 and 243 pounds) to earn a living under center. The most important aspect to pay close attention to for Speight is that he missed time in high school with a collarbone injury and the reoccurrence last season will surely place him under a bit of health scrutiny. His on field play is on par with the best in country when healthy for the Wolverines. Speight could easily be a top five overall prospect at quarterback when it is all said and done.
