Personal: Born Jan. 24, 1995 in Providence, Rhode Island … mother is Chiara Cooper … currently majoring in exercise science.

Cooper was one of the top receivers in high school attending Hope High School in Providence, Rhode Island. He received zero offers and so began his journey that would take him across the country to pursue his desire to play football.

A couple JUCO stops eventually landed him at D2 Dixie State located in St. George, Utah. His first season (2016) he earned RMAC first team honors in the conference. Another season with the Trailblazers should bolster his play and the schools 6-5 overall record from last season.

Cooper plays in a 4-2-5 defense and is asked to play a lot of man coverage. Team oriented defensive back with decent speed (4.5) that also has experience on special teams as a return man.
