Redding says that growing up his second gear did not exist, so much so that kids would tease him about him being slow. He says track in high school helped build up his legs and eventually the speed was released.

Leaving Bowling Green his senior season he weighed 168, prior to heading to Test Football Academy for his combine prep work, where he added 13 pounds, while retaining his speed.

During his Pro Day, Redding ran a blistering 4.39 with an additional 13 pounds of muscle on his frame. He was the Falcons leading touchdown catches (8) this past year and earned second team All-MAC honors at receiver.

Redding has a long lanky frame, but he knows how to use it to his advantage. He does a terrific job high pointing the ball and shields his body from defenders. Very aware in coverage, Redding does a solid job of getting off the hip of cornerbacks and hitting his next gear.

The tools are there to earn the respect of a coaching staff once rookie camps open.
