Time and time again, small school prospects lack the ideal measurables associated with being considered a legit NFL Draft prospect, that is not the case with the six-foot-four and 225-pound Smith from West Georgia.

The buzz surrounding him is truly about his size and athleticism. Smith did not play in a pass happy offensive scheme where he was targeted play after play. The Wolves offense preferred the running game over their passing attack, of the 803 offensive plays called, 458 (57%) ended up a run, while 345 (42.9%) were called to pass. Their pass distribution was extremely well-rounded with five players with 20-plus receptions but no player with more than 33 catches.

No gaudy inflated numbers follow Smith, just his size and athleticism. That is important when looking at Smith as a prospect at the next level. He learned to be very patient and know that the football was limited, making each opportunity that much more important when they called on No. 21 to make a play.

It also coincides with at least 10 known NFL teams have stopped to pay West Georgia a visit, to get a close look at Smith.
