Personal: Son of Bruce and Keesha Selby … twin brother, Taronn, is a wide receiver on the 2018 Hornets … also has two sisters … born 11/10/96 in Wilmington, Del.

There are a pair of identical twins (Selby brothers) that played their collegiate football at Delaware State and now are preparing for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Keyjuan is the defensive back and Taronn is the receiver and both bring an above average athleticism. Keyjuan the younger of the two by five minutes received the biggest offer that came from Villanova, but his heart was set on playing his college football with his brother, so they eventually ended up being Hornets.

The biggest concern about Keyjuan is his size. There is a limited amount of defensive backs in the National Football League around 175-pounds. That does mean they do not exist.

Damontar Kazee (174-pounds) was selected in the fifth-round by the Atlanta Falcons out of San Diego State in the 2017 NFL Draft. Kazee has speed and is not afraid to hit and those basically are a of Keyjuan’s top qualities at defensive back.

Primarily used in press-man coverage, he shows good awareness. Takes enormous pride in coverage technique and is not afraid to support the run fast. He’ll drive into the ball carrier. He was fifth overall on the team in solo tackles (34) and seventh in combined (45). Good character kid with team leader mentality. Great hand eye coordination. Adjusts well to the football. Good pound-for-pound strength.

Should test extremely well at Delaware Pro Day on March 22nd. Pro Day is the opportunity for Selby to entice NFL Scouts.
