Marquez possesses good athletic ability and versatility. He is a true competitor with leadership qualities. His final year in high school he played wide receiver and led the county in receiving yards while also playing linebacker and serving as the team’s punter.

He carried that versatility when arriving at Rutgers where he was brought in to play defensive end. His next two years he played fullback behind Michael Burton (Detroit Lions) before making another move this time to linebacker.

Marquez possesses soft hands and shows some agility at fullback. He is a tough competitor with great intensity and passion for the game. Quick learner and unselfish demeanor to put the team first. Smart and can line up at multiple positions, Marquez would appear to excel on special teams.

With a personality to ignite others to win he should benefit from time spent in camp where he can show his ability and team oriented pursuit to perfection.
