C2P – What were your expectations arriving in college? What are your expectations moving forward?
I just wanted a chance to play at the next level. There was not much interest shown my way but I was finally given the opportunity at ESU and I never looked back. My expectations moving forward are to keep moving forward and prove to all the doubters once again I can play at the next level.

C2P- What moment did you realize the NFL was an opportunity?
This season when I shattered my previous stats and started seeing NFL scouts at my practices and being told my coaches spoke with them about me.

C2P – What is your best quality at your position?
I would have to say my catch radius and body control.

C2P – What did your coach preach you needed to work on the most?
Speed. Ever since I was little everyone harped on me for sped and I just continued to improve in that area and get faster every year.

C2P – What did your coach praise you on for doing very well?
He said my mindset was always great, my mentality that any time the ball was in the air it was mine, and my unmatched work ethic.

C2P – Have your coaches said NFL Scouts have or shown an interest in you?
Yes they have.

C2P – Your biggest asset that you never were able to reveal in college?
I wouldn’t say it wasn’t revealed but my body control near the sideline and back of the end zone keeping both feet rather than just one in was a thing I have practiced doing since smurf football.

C2P – One word to describe you a player?
Tenacious

C2P – What type of offense/defense did you play mostly in college?
Wide receiver

C2P – What will be your biggest adjustment moving forward?
Showing that I can play against any competition and everyone can throw away that “lack of small school competition”

C2P – What pro player would you remind us most of with your style of play?
Steve Smith

C2P – Best film to go back and watch?
The 6 OT game against Ship where I had 20 catches, over 200 yards and 7 TD’s

C2P – How many positions can you play or have played?
I have played receiver, Safety, Cornerback, punt returner, jammer, and holder

C2P – Any all-star invites and if yes have you accepted the invite?
USA college football bowl, dream bowl, and tropical bowl all extended invites but I decided to accept the College Gridiron Showcase in Texas January 10th

C2P – What teams in the NFL fit your style the best?
I feel I can fit into any system because everyone praises how coachable I am and I will be the hardest working player on the field whether its running my routes to perfection or blocking to get my teammates into the end zone.

C2P – How do you plan on attacking the next few months to prepare for a shot at the NFL?
Train harder than I ever have before and continuing to eat right.

C2P – What other schools showed interest in your leaving high school?
Some local division 3 schools and Clarion University.

C2P – Have you ever been arrested or have a criminal record?
NO

C2P – Where you a team captain in college?
Yes

C2P – How many games did you miss due to injury (College)?
0 (knock on wood)

C2P – How many concussions have you had or known of?
None

C2P – How many games did you start?
Every one since my red shirt sophomore year

C2P – What is the most positive words spoken by your head coach about your game?
“You trained and worked to be the best receiver in the nation, and you are”

C2P – Projected 40-time at Pro Day?
Mid to low 4.5

C2P – Do you know Pro Day date yet?
No sir

Ironic, but true Schnaars received mostly D3 offers leaving high school. To say the slipped through the cracks is a bit of an understatement considering he grew into a 6-foot-2 and 208 pound receiver with over 1,600 receiving yards his senior season. His production has grown each and every year at East Stroudsburg.

Schnaars brings terrific size to the receiver position. He plays offense with a defensive mentality and relishes in the opportunity to take on defensive backs when asked to block. His size also carries with it a wide catch radius and Schnaars revealed that is something he has worked on since the second grade is high-pointing and attacking the football. He knows how to use his body to get positioning. Can sky for the ball and provide mismatch problems. While he may appear to be a possession receiver he has the speed to make plays. Hence his 114 receptions for 1,610 yards and 22 touchdowns.
