Going into his sophomore season he heard that football would always be an option and his senior season he took the leap from the hardwood to the gridiron. Started at Western Kentucky as a tight end then added muscle and was moved to defensive tackle. NFL scouts suggested his move to offensive linemen and the he has worked since then to harness in the techniques of the trade. An athlete that can move like he is 270 but weighs 296. Fant is exceptional athletically and has increased his value as the NFL Draft nears. Raw physical ability with good weight-room strength.
