Personal: Last name is pronounced WOH-soo… Born Aug. 26, 1994 in Jersey City, N.J. … Hometown is Washington D.C. … Parents are Victoria and Emeka Nwosu… Has one older brother and one younger sister… Each of his parents and his older brother were born in Nigeria before moving to the United States… Wears size 3XL gloves… Majoring in sociology.

Played in run first pro style offense at Colorado State where his job first and foremost was to block. The Rams’ looked at throwing to the tight end as the third option behind running then throwing to their wideouts.

Nwosu is extremely versatile for his size and shows above average athleticism. He was used all over the field at Colorado State. Seeing him line up with his hand in the dirt, slot, wing or even in the backfield was common place.

It does not mean Nwosu is not up to the task. He possesses naturally soft hands and shows short area quickness to cut into his routes. Very durable he did not miss a single game due to injury at Colorado State. He also spent time at linebacker and could play fullback.

Nwosu should be late-round prospect or priority free agent signing after the NFL Draft. Versatility is his calling card to gain the attention of NFL teams.
