Claude George Highlights

George has amassed a lot of success in a very short amount of time. Originally beginning his college playing days on the JUCO level he quickly established himself as a legit NFL Prospect and was off the play in the SEC at Texas A&M. Feel he is one of the snubs after missing out on a all-star invite to East West Shrine or NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

He was about 200-pounds leaving high school and did not receive a ton of scholarship offers, but did land at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. George added another 30-pounds of muscle and by his sophomore season and was playing defensive end and outside linebacker.

George admitted on the College2Pro.com Players Platform Show that it “took awhile to get comfortable” once he arrived at College Station as an Aggie. Comparing his junior and senior season, George showed the untapped potential and immense ceiling he has yet to reach.

He is a versatile linebacker that can excel at all three positions. George is a very instinctive linebacker who relishes his time watching film to breakdown player tendencies. Film credit was mentioned in the interception he had of Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts this past season. George is a lead by example type player who takes pleasure in trying to emulate the games of Ray Lewis and Luke Kuechly.

A very athletic prospect, George possesses quick hips to drop in coverage and a knack for disrupting plays in the backfield. He is an explosive hitter with burst to the football and light on his feet. Strikes the ball carrier and plays with high level of energy. Is able to penetrate offensive line to reach the quarterback and simply shows up in all phases of the game.

Undersized college defensive end who craves making tackles, which correlates into a very well rounded linebacker with above average athletic ability. Very high on this particular player, he basically doubled his production his senior year at Texas A&M.
