Good size & ability, Wesley is a dual sport athlete for Northern Colorado. Earnest Collins Jr. (Head Coach) and Michael Armour (Assistant Football Coach), would go along with Wesley in their support for him to participate in both track and football. Several schools along the recruiting trail did not want him doing both.

Wesley is the first to admit that football is his first passion and he considers himself a football player first and foremost, despite him being a 3x NCAA champion in the 400-meters. He possesses good size, 6-foot-0 and 185-pounds. Obviously, it is his overall speed that catches the eyes of NFL Scouts heading into his final season with the Bulls, but he is also a team-captain who takes pride in the techniques of the position.

The Texas native, is active in run support and does a solid job of running routes. Last year he averaged over 100-yards per game (101) on 55 receptions for a total of 1,010 yards and six touchdowns (led Bulls).
